Overview
Fort Needham Natural Playground was a Design- Build project which was considered part of the overall Fort Needham Park Redevelopment Master Plan. Turf Masters had the opportunity to collaborate on the playground design with Viridis Design Studio while also being selected as the General Contractor to complete the construction of the facility.
The Turf Masters team constructed a unique playground space which featured elements designed to facilitate interaction with all age groups within the community. Over 95% of the structures were constructed from natural materials and treated to withstand Atlantic Canada’s variable climate. We are proud to say that the facility has received extremely positive feedback from the community and continues to perform at a very high level under heavy use.
